It’s one thing to
read books and listen to cd's, but an entirely
different learning experience to live the life
first-hand in the field for an entire weekend.

America’s only boot camp devoted to those
individuals who want to excel in the billboard
business.
Each day will consist of in-class coursework,
demonstrations, and field work involving the
real experiences that you need to master to
successfully start and run a billboard business
– either full time or as a hobby.

zoning maps
• Classwork on understanding billboard ground
leases

• Classwork and skits on how to meet with and
negotiate lease with landowner
• Classwork on deciding the billboard size,
height and configuration
• Classwork on how to read an engineer’s print
for a billboard
• Classwork on how to find, evaluate, and buy
existing billboards
• Fieldwork on how to find a billboard location
• Fieldwork on how to measure the spacings
between billboards
• Fieldwork on where to place a billboard on a
property
• Fieldwork on how to measure the proposed
height of a billboard
• Visit to a steel foundry building billboard
structures
Sunday
• Classwork on how to rent advertising space
• Classwork on how to meet with clients
• Classwork on understanding an advertising
space lease
• Classwork on how to create effective billboard
advertisements
• Fieldwork on how to locate advertisers for a
billboard
• Fieldwork on how to change a timeclock and
look for problems on a structure
• Conclusion and review of key points
We have put a lot of thought and effort into
this boot camp, and believe that it covers all
the bases and takes you from 0 to 60 in two days
of intense instruction. You should be able to
leave the course with a firm understanding of
how to get going immediately and do it
correctly.
About the Instructor
Frank
Rolfe built from scratch one of the largest
outdoor billboard companies in Dallas/ Ft.
Worth. When he sold it to a public company in
1996, he had over 300 billboards, 80% he had
built himself, and the other 20% he had bought
from competitors. He had developed systems to
rent one billboard face every two days, a pace
several times faster than the competition. In
addition to this large company, he also built
and sold an outdoor billboard business in Los
Angeles, California, which included billboards
at Universal Studios and the Asahi Beer Building
on Wilshire, as well as a set of leases and
permits he sold in the north Texas market.
Nobody knows the billboard business better than
Frank Rolfe and, if they do, they refuse to talk
about it and reveal the secrets.

The cost for this
