The main focus of OutdoorBillboard.com is to put Outdoor Advertising Media Owners together with those that are looking to expand their overall marketing campaigns by buying Ad Space on that media.  In order to accomplish this there are actually 3 sections on the site to make this happen:

  • Billboards For Rent:  this is where the owners of the signs or media post available sites.  They are contacted directly by potential advertisers.
  • Billboards Wanted For Rent: this is where the potential advertisers post what they are looking for and then the owners of the signs and media contact them directly.
  • Outdoor Advertising From A-Z:  This is a national directory of Outdoor Advertising Companies listed by State and then City.  Potential advertisers can contact companies in specific areas if they cannot find what they are looking for under the Billboards for Rent Section.

We continue to add new listings on a daily basis and continue to get positive feedback from many of the advertisers on the site.  As we continue to grow one can only believe that the results and content will grow exponentially.

Other popular areas of the site include:

  • Billboards and Outdoor Media For Sale:  Here companies with billboards, mobile trucks, and other media list what they have for sale and they are contacted directly by the potential purchasers.  This is the area of OutdoorBillboard.com that has the greatest percentage of feedback.  Obviously there are more potential purchasers than sellers.

  • Land & Property For Outdoor Media:  This is another growing area of the site in which property owners that have good potential locations for Billboards post their desire to be contacted by Outdoor Companies to evaluate the possibility of purchasing or leasing their property to construct Outdoor Media.

  • Products & Services:  Here you will find companies the provide new structures, offer printing and design, valuations, consulting, installations, and much more!

OutdoorBillboard.com is constantly growing and is now receiving approximately 2,000 page views per day.  The site has about 1,800 pages and the rankings in the search engines and ranking services are rapidly increasing.

The Bookstore is now open!

Finding good books and resources to educate those new to Outdoor Advertising and to further educate those familiar with the industry have been few and far between.  However, we have found a couple resources and have added them to our Bookstore:

  1. Billboard Investments DVD: Pat Winter, “Mr. Commercial Real Estate”, announces a new release in his Mastermind Group Workshop series on real estate investments: “Billboard Investments.” The new DVD video workshop is designed to clarify the process for making successful billboard investments.

With this program you'll learn why billboards are an often overlooked investment opportunity. Billboards are making a major comeback, partly due to the advent of digital technology. Pat explains why this is a significant factor and he puts you in the loop in this lucrative advertising industry that is much less expensive than print or TV advertising.

  2. Valuation of Billboards, by Dwain R. Stoops, MAI, SRA, and Marvin L. Wolverton, PhD, MAI Outdoor advertising signs are a common part of the American landscape, but their valuation can present uncommon problems for real estate appraisers. The Valuation of Billboards provides essential information appraisers need to describe the physical characteristics of these unique assets and to understand the outdoor advertising industry and its operation.
